A message from Samantha Johnson, ECHO Chief Executive:

I am reaching out to you, our community, to let you know about ECHO’s Community Survey, where we want to hear about what ECHO means to you, how we can best support you and what is important to you.

At ECHO, we have been connecting and supporting our community of heart families and professionals for 38 years. We have always been led by the needs of those we support and those we work alongside, and now we want to hear from parents, carers, families, project partners, professionals, fundraisers and the medical teams in hospital and the community in our survey.

The survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

By taking part, you could win 1 of 2 x £50 gift vouchers up for grabs to spend at your choice of over 130 stores – complete the survey and leave your contact details at the end to be entered into the prize draw.

Why are ECHO doing this survey now?

Over the past 12 months our charity has experienced some of its toughest times as our information and support were needed more than ever and our funding events and opportunities slipped away. As we reflect on the past and ECHO’s future plan, I need your help.

We have created an online survey and need parents, carers, families, project partners, professionals, fundraisers and the medical teams in hospital and the community to help us as we begin to look at ECHO after Coronavirus.

Funding has been different over the past year and we must ensure ECHO can continue to provide support to heart families when they need it in the future, your answers could also help us with funding vital projects or report about the work we do.

What is the survey about?

Some of the questions explore how easy it would be for you to refer someone to ECHO, how we are doing supporting you and how ECHO reflects your own personal identity, how we can make things easier for you to support us and why we should continue.

The survey will take around 10 minutes of your time and at the end you are given the chance to tell us anything that you think would help us as we plan our future.

I am asking you for honest and upfront feedback. If you have an idea or a question about how ECHO or the cardiac community could work better, be smarter or continue I want to hear it. Your ten minutes will have a huge impact on ECHO, helping us to understand what is important to you, your family and your teams.

How to enter our prize draw

You can choose to answer all or some of the questions and the survey will be anonymous, meaning you don’t need to include your name. We will only ask for your details at the end of the survey if you would like to be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 2 x £50 gift vouchers to spend at your choice of over 130 stores!
