ECHO are delighted to have been selected by The Athena Network (City & West Essex) as its ‘Charity of the Year’ in a special partnership, beginning in 2016.

It is safe to say that the Athena Network has been a true ECHO Champion – raising much needed funds as well as providing volunteers for a number of different ECHO events and activities and sharing their expertise and insight in lots of different ways.

The Athena Network is a collaborative networking group for female entrepreneurs and business women, who meet monthly to discuss new ideas and support one another.

The ‘Athena Ladies’ have helped us at numerous ECHO events both through general organisation and also by providing story-telling workshops, numerous crafting sessions, and also cooking treats and goodies. In addition, Athena has invited ECHO to join them at different events held around the country, helping us to promote the charity’s work to a wider audience.

This type of help and partnership is invaluable to ECHO and hugely appreciated. We thank the wonderful Athena Network for their ongoing commitment to the ECHO Community.
