There is some free accommodation available for parents of children staying at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, subject to availability:

Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides free accommodation for parents of children staying at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, with private rooms, shared kitchens and communal areas.

Parents can request to be put on the waiting list for RMH before coming to hospital or on arrival – please ask a nurse on the ward when you arrive and they’ll make enquiries. Rooms are allocated depending on availability and level of emergency. Sadly, they won’t necessarily have room for everyone. For more information, please visit rmhc.org.uk.

Gassiot House, located just in front of St Thomas’ Hospital, provides accommodation which can be booked on a nightly basis. Similarly to Ronald McDonald House, Gassiot House can provide free accommodation to families of children staying at Evelina London – please ask a nurse on the ward when you arrive and they’ll make enquiries. It may be possible to pay for accommodation at Gassiot House as well.
