ECHO has been selected as the only charity allowed to fundraise with collection tins on Tues 13th March at Cannon Street Station and Wed 6th June at Waterloo Station– and we need helpers!
This is the first time ECHO have been allocated a much sought after collection date at two of London’s busiest stations – if we cannot secure enough volunteers then these events cannot go ahead.
By giving up just 2.5 hours of your time during either the morning or evening rush you will be helping raise much needed funds and awareness of congenital and acquired heart disease.
ECHO provided a range of support for over 4,000 families in 2017 and we estimate that, funding permitting, we will support even more families this year. But we need funds to ensure we can do so!
Support from enthusiastic and friendly members and the local community is imperative to ensure this collection can go ahead.
This is your chance to support ECHO by volunteering and joining us on Tuesday 13th March or Wednesday 6th June!
This is a great opportunity for a London based company or workplace to get involved and help support ECHO during the commuter rush hour – these collections can raise hundreds of pounds in 1 day and we are OVER THE MOON to have been selected by National Rail the first time.
We need just 16 individuals to give up just 2.5 hours of their time! We are allowed 4 collectors at any time and each collector must have a 10 minute safety briefing beforehand. Photo ID (valid passport or driving licence) will be required.
We have been recommended the following time slots:

This activity would suit teams of people and be an excellent fundraising activity for a company to complete.
