ECHO - Connecting the Children's Heart Community

ECHO Teens Online Safety Agreement

Welcome to ECHO Teens!

ECHO understands the importance of children and young people being able to use the internet for education and personal development. This includes social media platforms and video call platforms such as Zoom. We aim to support children and young people in making use of these in our work. However, we also recognise that safeguards need to be in place to ensure children are always kept safe.

This agreement is part of our overarching code of behaviour and online safety policy for children and young people, ECHO staff and volunteers.

Young person: please read the following agreement and Community Guidelines and discuss it with your parents/carers.

Parents/carers: please read and discuss the below with your child and then complete the agreement form.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to ECHO Teens.

I agree that:

I understand that my behaviour during any ECHO Teen Hub online meetings or evens will be monitored and logged by the ECHO group leader. I understand that these rules are designed to keep me safe and that if I choose not to follow them, ECHO may contact my parents/carers and I may be asked to leave the group.
