The ECHO Teens Virtual Film Club is back for 2024 with a series of three exciting activities in collaboration with drama teacher Lily, to introduce you to the world of the arts, drama and theatre. She will host two interactive workshops around characterisation and improvisation, followed by an exciting trip to watch the musical the ECHO teens have voted for!
This youth-led, creative project offers young people an opportunity to meet others, learn new skills, and explore transition and growing up with a heart condition and as a heart sibling.
Workshop 1 Characterisation: Saturday 27th April, 12pm – 1pm. Hosted online.
Delving into the fundamentals of character development, you will learn to master the craft of portraying a character from the selected musical.
Workshop 2 Improvisation: Saturday 22nd June, 12pm – 1pm. Hosted online.
Discover the art of improvisation and unleash your creative skills through unscripted acting.
Theatre trip: Saturday 20th July, Disney’s The Lion King, Lyceum Theatre, London. Meeting at 11:00.
