The “Food you love” restaurant is in the middle of the hospital, on the corridor that links the old and new parts of the hospital.

Its opening hours are:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00am to 7:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Shops and cafes

WHSmith is situated to the left of the main entrance (Ramsgate Road entrance). The shop sells newspapers and magazines, convenience products for your stay in the hospital, along with coffee, hot drinks and a range of healthy snacks and treats. Its opening hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 7.00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am to 7:00pm
• Sunday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Bank Holidays: 9.00am to 5.00pm (closed Christmas Day)

Cash point

There is a cash point inside the hospital,  just past the Ramsgate Road main entrance foyer, to the right. (Please note there is a charge for using this cash machine).

Chapel

The chapel is located in the Ramsgate Road main reception foyer of the hospital. All faiths and beliefs are welcome. It is open from 8am to 10pm every day. The main reception or ward staff can contact a chaplain. Read more about our Chaplaincy Services.

Telephones

Public telephones and freephones for taxis are available at the main entrances of the hospital.

Facilities for inpatients

Volunteers take newspaper and trolley shops around the wards and run a ward library service
