Explore your wellbeing at ECHO's We Care, You Matter events in 2019

We care about your wellbeing, and recognise the importance of taking time for yourselves as members of the heart community.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, at ECHO we are excited to announce our first two dedicated wellbeing days: specialist events for all ECHO members at every stage of your heart journey - parents/carers or siblings and bereaved families within the ECHO heart community.

These events will replace our annual winter party for 2019, usually a one day event in December, as we are instead able to offer two dates which means even more of our members have an opportunity to attend and enjoy a day out as part of the heart community.

We will be holding one event in London on 8th June, and one in Kent on 26th October. Both days will run from 10am-4pm. You are welcome to attend one or both of these events.

Why attend? The days are for anyone experiencing emotional challenges or those simply interested in exploring the idea of wellbeing and learning how it could benefit you. Learn potentially lifesaving skills in a parent and child first aid introduction, enjoy complementary therapies such as chair massage and beauty treatments, and practice new wellbeing techniques.

You will have an opportunity to meet ECHO staff and volunteers, ECHO's CEO Samantha Johnson and Debbie Howe, ECHO's counsellor who will be around on the day and looks forward to meeting you.

Other info: Children are welcome to attend, there will be fun activities for them while you take part in the sessions. ECHO will provide some refreshments but ask you to bring a packed lunch along.

We hope to see as many of you there as possible!

P.S...

Just 2 weeks to go until the ECHO Teens Up & Over Challenge!

We still have spaces for you to take on the Up & Over challenge, so what are you waiting for?

Join other ECHO Teen members on 30th May 2019 in this exhilarating experience that takes you on an expedition over the roof of The O2 in London via a fabric walkway 52m above ground level and 380m long.

Register, raise what you can and join us for a fun afternoon including the climb, lunch and certificate presentation in the O2 arena.

Best wishes from Team ECHO,

Samantha, EmmaSinéad and Kate
