Dear ECHO Supporters

Come and join ECHO at our 2018 end of year event, where we’ll be celebrating the festive season in style…

With a Festive Tropicana Beach Party!

Fun in the festive sun with ECHO

The ECHO team would love to welcome you and your family (maximum 2 adults per party) to our annual ECHO community get-together, this time with a tropical twist.

The day will give you the opportunity to meet other heart families treated by London Evelina, the ECHO Team and to enjoy a day out at the (albeit imaginary) beach for some fun, food and games!

We’ve listened to your feedback and this year have shaken up the application process with the aim of making it fairer to all. The event will be open for applications this entire week (1-8 October), after which date attendees will be randomly selected using an online generator until we meet our maximum capacity.

To apply for your place, click here or on the button below to complete the registration form.

If you know an organisation or individual who would be able to sponsor our party, we have opportunities ranging from £350 up to £12,500. For more information, email emma@echo-uk.org.

Hello, new faces!

We’re so pleased this month to welcome 2 new people to the ECHO team, both working to support heart families, in different ways!

Jane (in the left photo) has been a passionate and hands-on trustee of ECHO for 16 years and now joins us as our new Chair. As a mum of a son with a heart condition, she initially felt quite isolated and decided to join ECHO as a trustee. Jane attempts to make sense of very large numbers in her job as an accountant, and otherwise trying to keep track of her 4 children, husband, and cat.

Sinéad joins the ECHO office as our new Communications and Volunteering Coordinator. She hopes to meet as many of you as possible and share the incredible impact of the ECHO community wide and far, increasing supporers and volunteering opportunities. Sadly unlike Jane, Sinéad does not have a cat of her own, but you can often find her stopping on the street to make friends with each cat she comes across on her way.

Best wishes from Team ECHO,

Samantha, Emma, Sinéad and Rick
