Hello ECHO Supporters!

We're delighted to announce the launch of the new ECHO Teens Hub, plus read on for details of how to give feedback on recent hospital experiences plus latest info on upcoming ECHO events:

New ECHO Teens programme launches

We are pleased to announce a new and exciting initiative, the ECHO Teens Hub—a safe space for heart teens with a clear goal: to offer not only information about living with a heart condition, but also the well-deserved opportunity to have lots of fun and take part in new experiences.

The programme aims to provide an informal space where young people with a heart condition (aged 11 - 18) and their siblings can meet others going through a similar experience, seek information and guidance and take part in fun, challenging and rewarding experiences.

1st Teen Hub taking place next Sat 24th March between 1-4pm - see below for more info and to register attendance

Visit our website for details of upcoming events and to register

New Survey launches about congenital heart services

A new patient experience survey specifically for congenital heart services has launched. It's designed to enable patients and parents/carers to report on their experiences of care at their specialist surgical (Level 1) centre. There are separate surveys for outpatients and inpatients as well as surveys specifically aimed at parents/carers, children and adults/teenagers.

We encourage all patients and parents/carers to complete the survey by visiting www.chdpatientsurvey.co.uk

This is an important opportunity to let NHS England know your thoughts on your recent hospital experiences - don't miss it.
