We're delighted to announce that Children in Need has awarded nearly £30,000 (£9,000 for three years) to part-fund our ECHO Teens programme, specifically a series of focused workshops and fun outings for teenagers.

This incredible donation will be used to fund specialist sessions for our ECHO Teens over the course of three years. The focus of these sessions will vary and include: advice and information about the heart and living with a heart condition, advice and support on transitioning to adult services, and also wellbeing and lifestyle sessions centred on: diet & exercise, stress & anxiety management, relationships, careers, smoking, drugs & alcohol.

Calling all ECHO Teens!

We’re inviting young ECHO members to an informal workshop next week, helping us to plan the new spaces for teenagers at Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

This gathering is open to young ECHO members who are interested in design or who can share their experiences of hospital stays.

As part of the new cardiac facilities at Evelina London for the first time ever there will be space for a parents room, a play room AND a small but important area for teenagers.

We want you to tell us what this special room for teenagers NEEDS to have!

Your views will help us and the hospital ensure we provide a space that young people will use and enjoy.
