ECHO is working in partnership with the Cardiology team across the Evelina London and its network hospitals to celebrate the hard work of cardiac staff, through the ECHO Excellence Awards.

Winners are selected each month and gifted a bespoke ECHO Excellence Awards enamel pin badge for their lanyard, a certficiate and a gift voucher plus a special online celebration e-news and social media.

February 2021 winners

During National Heart Month, ECHO are delighted to award the first round of winners and celebrate all the incredible nominees who go above and beyond to provide care and support for ECHO heart families.

Any member of cardiac staff within Evelina London and any of its network hospitals can be nominated. This could be administrators, porters, physiologists, therapists, nurses and doctors – any member of staff who has gone above and beyond to support heart families. 

All you need to do is let us know why you are nominating them, and they will be in with a chance of winning - and each month we will announce 4 winners.

There's still lots you, your family and colleagues can do during February to celebrate National Heart Month. We've seen members bake heart shaped cookies, ask their colleaues to wear red on their Zoom meeting, children talking about CHD at school and nursery online assemblies, or creating their own challenge (like running, walking or even shaving their hair!) and setting up an online fundraiser.

We hope you can take part and help ECHO raise vital awareness of congenital heart disease, while raising funds to enable us to be there for every heart family who needs us.
