Dear ECHO supporters,

The start of National Heart Month is now just 2 days away, and is a perfect opportunity for us all to band together and raise awareness of congenital heart disease while raising funds to support heart families.

What are you doing to raise awareness of congenital heart disease during heart month?

It's time to get that red jumper out of your wardrobe, don a scarlet tie to work an find your crimson socks to raise awareness for congenital heart disease.

In case you missed it, you can find resources for hosting your own Super Social event during the month, or for contacting your child's local nursery or school to let them know about heart month and encourage them to be part of raising awareness and funds for ECHO.

Your support will help us to continue our work within the heart community, and to host events such as our heart month event to give children staying in the Evelina London hospital a fun-filled day.

We can't wait to hear about what you get up to in February!

To mark National Heart Month we'll be hosting a party day at the Evelina London for inpatients or those of you with outpatient appointments on the day, plus hospital staff, to celebrate the month and raise awareness of congenital heart disease.

We'll have super smoothie bikes, some magical entertainment and a special performance from the London Children's Ballet, plus music, fun and games.

We hope that if you are at Evelina London on that day we will see you there!

Best wishes from Team ECHO,

Samantha, Emma and Sinéad
