Hello from Team ECHO!

Children and young people were each awarded a certificate and trophy that recognised their talents, achievements, and abilities, both as 'star siblings' and as individuals.

The ECHO team would like to thank all the families who attended for making the day so memorable and rewarding. We hope you enjoyed it too!

A big thank you also, to the staff team at the Evelina London that helped to make the day possible.

ECHO also now plan to make the Star Siblings Day an annual event each February half-term, so if you were not able to join this time, please do put it in the diary for next year!

Staff Hero of the month ...

Our ‘Superhero of the Month’ for February, is Dr Niki Gregg (Clinical Psychologist, Evelina London).

In addition to the invaluable support to cardiac families that Niki is able to give through her role within the Psychology Team, Niki has also been instrumental in championing the work of many additional projects alongside ECHO, including the recent ECHO Siblings Day, ‘Come for a Cuppa’ sessions on Savanah Ward, and helping to deliver the youth programme at the Transition Information Days.

ECHO would like to thank Niki and the Psychology Team, for going above and beyond the call of duty in order to ensure the best support for families at the Evelina.
