ECHO has been very fortunate to have the support of students from Harris Girls Academy East Dulwich in recent years - this year alone the students raised £6,000 for ECHO!
Earlier this summer the girls visited the Evelina London Children's Hospital to find out more about how their hard-earned funds are helping children and their families. The students saw first-hand how ECHO families are benefitting from the money they have raised, through special family events and buying toys for the treasure chest which children are offered following surgery.
Thank you girls - you are all superheroes in our eyes and ECHO salutes you!
The Evelina London Children's Hospital has created a new parent information leaflet about caring for children's cardiac wounds at home.
The hospital are seeking feedback on the leaflet from parents/carers - your input will help to ensure the leaflet has everything it needs.
Do you have time to read and review the leaflet? If so, please contact admin@echo-evelina.org.uk
If you live within the M25 you could be eligible to receive additional support from our Cardiac Support Worker, Diana Neagu.
Diana provides practical and emotional support in the hospital and also in the community, to families who are experiencing serious difficulties and have few other avenues of support.

We are asking children, adults, friends and supporters to grab their pens & pencils or computers and get creative. Your design could become one of the ECHO Christmas cards - prizes are also available.
Your entry can be a photograph, a drawing, a cartoon, a kid’s picture and you can enter individually or as a group – we are open to all ideas.
Exciting news - we are currently updating the ECHO website, fingers crossed it will be live in a few months time!
We are reviewing, editing & improving all the content - it's a big job but we want to ensure we provide our members with correct and current information.
We need parents/carers to help us ensure the information we have is relevant, correct - and if anything else is needed!
Do you have time to read and review information for our new website? If so we'd love to hear from you: siobhan@echo-evelina.org.uk
