London Marathon 2020: The 40th race, your way
The 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon – The 40th Race – is taking place on Sunday 4 October 2020.
For the first time in its history, participants will be able to run, walk or jog the 26.2 miles from wherever you are in the world. It’s your chance to do the Virgin Money London Marathon – Your Way.
Participants will have 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds to complete the 26.2 miles, you can choose to run, walk or jog – making the event the most inclusive London Marathon ever.
You will have access to the Official 40th Race App to enable you to log your miles and earn the coveted London Marathon Medal and New Balance Finisher T Shirt.

Why run for ECHO?
By choosing ECHO, you will be making a difference to the lives of children born with heart conditions and their families, through some of the most difficult time they will experience.
The reality is that ECHO rely heavily on events like these to carry out our services, and due to COVID-19, our in-person fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed. We really value every single contribution to help us to continue being there for children, young people and their families when they need us most.
