Being the sibling of a child born with CHD can be really special, but it can also feel challenging at times.

This year, we’re creating a resource to support children who have a brother or sister who is born with CHD – this will be for under 10’s and will be a storybook.

We want everyone to know they’re not alone and that there are many other incredible siblings, just like you, who understand what it’s like.

Calling all siblings aged 7-16 to join our workshop to help us create our new storybook.

Complete the form below to register to take part.

When is the workshop?

12:45–2:00 Part 2 – Siblings take over! With support from a graphic artist, you’ll get hands-on in helping design the accompanying wellbeing pack to support young people just like you. (This session will be inclusive to siblings, patients, and parents/carers)

2:20–2:30 Round up and end of workshop.

*As part of this, we’d love to include an image of as many of our amazing heart siblings alone and with their heart siblings as possible in the resource. A professional photographer will be there on the day to take the pictures, so as well as you featuring in the resource, you’ll also get to have a lovely photo of you and your sibling(s) to keep.

There will also be an appeal after the event for photos you might have from home, so watch this space
