Are you brave enough to jump out of a plane to support heart families?!
Earlier this year 21 echo teens bravely climbed London’s O2 – these amazing and courageous young people are now challenging you – what are you brave enough to do? (LINK TO: VIDEO)
If you’re gutsy enough to take on their challenge and jump out of a plane then this is your chance!
In aid of World Heart Day – 29th September – we are seeking 29 adrenaline thrill-seekers to jump out of a plane for ECHO!
You’ll never forget the exhilarating and unforgettable feeling of flying through the clouds from over 10,000ft at up to 120 mph!
Thrill-seeking fundraisers can take on this once-in-a-lifetime challenge and complete their training and jump in just one day – on SATURDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER at Headcorn Airfield in Kent.
There are 20 airfields across the country so if you would love to take part but are unable to travel to Headcorn or the date is not suitable – do email emma@echo-uk.org and she will be happy to help arrange at another airfield closer to home! You can still be counted as one of our magnificent 29 jumpers!
All you need to do is pay the £50 REGISTRATION FEE TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE and agree to raise £450 MINIMUM SPONSORSHIP: register your place by contacting Emma.
After a training session lasting about 30- 40 minutes the jump is made from c.12, 000 feet and includes a freefall of 30-40 seconds before your instructor opens your parachute. You will be given an opportunity to steer however the instructor remains in control at all times
Health & Safety Restrictions
For safety reasons our weight limit fully clothed is 86kg (13½ stone) and your weight should be in proportion to your height. However, if you are 1.70m (5′ 7″) in height or greater our absolute limit is 92kg (14½ stone). You may be weighed during registration. We reserve the right to refuse your jump if you exceed these limits.
You must be able to walk to the aircraft, climb a ladder into it and lift your legs straight out in front of you when suspended in a harness.
Everyone must sign BPA form 115A Tandem Student Parachutist Medical Information and Declaration. If you are unable to sign this you may still be able to make a Tandem Skydive by seeking qualified medical advice and certification using BPA form 115B.
You must be at least 16 years of age. Under 18s require Parental/Guardian Consent.
There is no upper age limit for tandems.
Please remember this is a weather dependent event and there will be a possibility of postponement.

Please note we can only jump in the following suitable weather conditions:
- The wind must be less than 20kts (24mph)
- Cloud must not restrict our view of the landing area from the aircraft
