ECHO Teens Hub is a fun, exciting, and informal safe space for 11-18-year-olds with a heart condition and their siblings.
We have a very exciting 2019 launch event for the ECHO Teens Hub coming up on Saturday 16th March from 10.15am-2.30pm.
The day will start with a private tour of the Science Gallery’s brand new exhibition, Spare Parts.
You will be joined by the artist behind the installation, Big Heart Data, and research scientist from King’s College London who are developing new technologies to treat heart conditions and are exploring the future of medical imaging- like how virtual reality can help surgeons!
You will have the chance to ask them about their careers and their projects. There will also be an interactive workshop exploring how hearts can be 3D printed, why this could be useful, and what you would do if you could print your heart.
We’ll then have lunch together at Hay’s Galleria, where parents will meet us at 2.30pm.
MEET: 10.15am at Science Gallery London (next to London Bridge Station/Guys Hospital) Great Maze Pond, London SE1 9GU at 10.15 (outside main entrance)
RSVP: If you are 11-18 and would like to join us email your name, age, email and parents details to: emma@echo-uk.org
