An epic day cycling around London city, with hundreds of riders in festive fancy dress. This event has been organised for the last 8 years by BMX Life to help ECHO after Stephane’s son had a near-fatal heart attack when he was a baby. They want to help other families who are going through similar experiences, and after the huge success of Santa Cruise 1,2,3,4, 5, 6, 7 AND 8 they are all set to do it again!
The group have now raised over £135,000 for ECHO!
Riders are setting off from Leake Street (AKA the Graffiti Tunnel) at 11 am all dressed as Santas, Elves, Christmas Trees, reindeer and everything festive!
They’ll ride around London all day, before stopping outside the Evelina Children’s Hospital to sing Christmas Carols where parents and children can come out onto the balcony to hear.
It’s then back to the final destination for some well-earned food and a rest at about 4 pm.
We’re open to all ideas, from hampers and vouchers to unique experiences that money can’t buy such as holidays, days out, meals, and more.
All of your fantastic offerings are very welcome to help us support BMXLife in having their best raffle for ECHO yet.
We have two shifts available to join, both in the Waterloo area:
• 10 am-3 pm: Seeing off our riders, shaking buckets and more
• 3 pm-8.30 pm: Welcoming our riders back, cheering and clearing
If you’re able to contribute to the raffle, would like to volunteer, or have any questions, please contact Emma using the button below, email directly: eorpin@echo-uk.org or call: 02079984710.
