ECHO - Connecting the Children's Heart Community

ECHO Teens

Age 18-25

A Community that understands, designed for young adult patients aged 18-25 and their siblings

Some of us have been part of ECHO since birth. Others joined us later in life. But no matter when or how we became part of this journey, we’re connected by a shared experience — living with a heart condition or supporting a sibling who does.

ECHO is a place where you don’t have to explain yourself. Where people just get it. Our community is built on empathy, understanding, and the strength that comes from knowing you’re not alone.

Whether you were born with a heart condition or developed one later, it can feel isolating — but you’re not alone. We’re a community built by and for young people who understand what you’re going through.

    What We Offer:

    • Peer-to-Peer Support: Meet others who truly get it. We create safe spaces to connect, share experiences, and build friendships.
    • Health & Lifestyle Guidance: Get support for managing your condition and living well — whether that’s through online resources, phone chats, or in-person meetups.
    • Volunteer Opportunities: Use your voice and experiences to support others and shape the future of heart health advocacy.
    • Youth worker: meet our youth worker online or in person, who can provide support as you navigate health appointments, university or work, relationships.

Whether you’re looking for advice, connection, or a way to give back, we’re here to help you feel empowered and understood.
